Sitting on the floor, with a striped square of sunlight on the back, I feel as if the season is sitting by my side with an arm around my shoulder. A passage by Meng Qiao comes to mind;

"Will a tiny leaf of a child's mind be

Ever worth the spring sunshine of mother's love?"

難將寸草心 報得三春輝

Spring sunshine. I can think of nothing that feels more like Mother's love.

"삼디프린터"라고 읽으면 안 되는 거였어?

김[종인] 전 의원은 “이번 대선은 힘을 합쳐보겠다는 유능과 혼자 하겠다는 무능의 대결”이라며 “이번 대선은 대한민국의 운명이 갈리는 분기점”이라고 역설했다.

이어 “위기에 처한 국가는 아무나 경영할 수 있는 게 아니다”라며 문[재인] 전 대표를 향해 “3D프린터를 삼디프린터라고 읽는 사람이 할 수 있는 일이 아니다. 잠깐 실수로 잘못 읽었다고 하기엔 너무도 심각한 결함”이라고 주장했다.

기껏 흠집이라고 찾아낸 게 "삼디프린터" 읽기 정도라면, 흠집이 정말 없는 후보로구나. 그런 흠집이 마음에 걸려서 손수 출마까지 해주다니, 초현실적으로 자상한 노인네로다.

근데... "3D프린터"를 어케 읽는 거지? 노인네 만나보면 물어볼 게 그거 하나 있네.

The water of the Seomjin River is still cold as ice, though the banks are already filled with wildflowers. As I put my hand quietly in the water, I feel the coldness climb up my arm and stab my heart, bringing along a painful memory.

We just cannot have a close look at anything without being reminded of one thing or another. So as to get a small pleasure from the sight of a little bloom of wildflower, we need to possess some beautiful memory.

It would be impossible to greet a real springtime into the world, without sufficient effort to straighten up our posture of life. It is because the power of the past on the present realizes itself through amplifying the meaning of the present on the future.
