Before entering into a new dream, I say, we have to make efforts to awaken ourselves from all previous dreams. That is not an easy thing, indeed. The awakening cannot be achieved by the efforts of a limited number of pioneering thinkers. A collective dream of a society can be broken only by a collective suffering.
Yet there are occasions when we perceive in our dream that we are in a dream. Such a perception would casually come by like an encounter with an unexpected friend in a narrow alley. When we give some thought to this encounter, however, we realize that its coming is not so casual after all. We have to take care not to overlook its hidden significance. Our effort to prompt the coming of the morning has to begin with the realization of this significance, on the individual level at least. Even if the morning turns out to be not as good as we hope it to be.
